SEAT
OF WISDOM BIBLE TIME LINE CLASS: An adult
education class will be held Feb. 1st
from 6-9PM. The class will be held at
St. Mary of Lourdes Hall. A light supper
and beverage will be provided.
RECYCLE THE WARMTH
2012: Sponsored by the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Is taking place this weekend
Jan. 27-29th. You are encouraged
to donate new and gently used blankets and bedding. A collection bin is available in the
gathering area for blankets and other bedding.
Donation envelopes and receipts are also available regarding donations
to this year’s drive.

CONFIRMATION
CLASS: Meets on Wed., Feb. 1st
at 8PM at St. Francis of Assisi. Be sure to bring your Bibles as well as
letters and other items for the care boxes for the two military service men.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION: will be celebrated here on Sunday, March 25, at
4PM. Students from Mount Horeb and Pine
Bluff will also be joining us.
KNIGHTS
OF COLUMBUS MEETING: Is Thursday
Feb. 2nd, 7PM, at St. Mary of Lourdes Hall
MASS SCHEDULE
CHANGE: Fr. Mick will help with a Marriage Preparation Retreat on Sat., Feb. 4th. Fr. Ken Klink will offer the 5PM Mass. THERE
WILL BE NO 8PM MASS THAT EVENING.
AMERICAN RED CROSS
BLOOD DRIVE: Is scheduled for Feb 6, 2012,
from 2-6PM, at St. Mary of Lourdes Church Hall. Sponsored by the Econo-misers Homemakers and the Kiwanis Club of Belleville.
MADISON CATHOLIC
WOMAN’S CLUB: On Feb. 7, 2012, St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Middleton, will host a
program called, “Circle of Life”. Further
information is available on the bulletin board in the gathering area.
MASS WITH
ANOINTING OF THE SICK: Will be offered at 9AM Mass on Sat., Feb. 11th, at St.
Francis of Assisi. This Mass and
anointing coincides with the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS: Will take place on the weekend of Feb. 18-19th. The terms of three representatives on the
council will be expiring. Nominations
for council membership are now being accepted by contacting the parish office. A council member should be registered in our
parish, actively practicing his/her Catholic faith, and be, at least, 18 yrs.

three years and can be re-elected. All
parishioners age 18 and older are eligible to vote in the elections.
BINGO BASH March 4th
NEWS: On March 4th, at
3:00 p.m. the winning church raffle tickets will be drawn at the end of the St.
Francis Bingo Bash. Please pick up your
raffle tickets near the entrance of church.
Raffle ticket money and stubs may be placed in the collection basket or
mailing them to Nan Engen, W5270 Village View Circle, New Glarus, WI 53574. Donations of bingo prizes and/or non
perishable luncheon items may be placed on the table in the gathering
area. Sign-up sheets for perishable food
donations and volunteer help are in the gathering area.
Diocese of Madison
2012 Annual Catholic Appeal Begins. This week parishioners throughout the diocese
will receive a mailing from Bishop Morlino. The Bishop is asking for a pledge
to the Annual Catholic Appeal to support the work of various ministries. Please
prayerfully consider making a pledge payable over 5-months to the appeal. Your gift will help enable the diocese to
reach its goal and provide grant opportunities for Catholic schools, religious
education programs and assisting distressed parishes in need. Thank you for
your continuing support of our diocese.
